Better For You Foods unveils Edible Bread Bowls, a line of products for private label development and consumers.
The first to hit the market will be frozen Bread Bowls that come two shells to a package.
The Bread Bowl shells are currently available in four flavor varieties: Multi-Grain; Wheat; Poppy Seed and Onion; and Cornmeal and Jalapeno.
The shells can be made with ancient grains, sprouted grains and a variety of USDA Certified Organic ingredients.
Other product development options include pairing bread bowls with heat and serve fillings, such as chili, chowder, stew, dip, egg scrambles or omelets.
Private label bread bowl products also include deli programs such as ‘soup to go’ and assorted food service applications.
