FMC and its health and nutrition division has expanded its global range of marine omega-3 concentrates with the availability of four omega-3 ingredients under its Epax brand.
The company showcased its Epax premium-quality omega-3 eicosapentaenoic acid/docosahexaenoic acid (EPA/DHA) Core and Ultra ranges at the SupplySide West Global Expo and Conference held in Las Vegas, October 6 to 10, 2014.
It introduced the following:
• Epax 4030 TGN – Higher EPA/DHA concentration, 90% triglycerides and antioxidant for stability;
• Epax 1050 TGN Non-Tuna – High concentrate with non-tuna raw material and higher DHA content;
• Epax 6015 TGN – High concentrate with 90% triglycerides; and
• Epax 4020 EE – High concentrate with antioxidant for stability.
At the show, FMC Health and Nutrition exhibited its heat-stable SeaGel vegetarian softgel technology based on seaweed, its natural colors portfolio and its portfolio of bioactive ingredients for the supplement and nutraceutical industries.
