Asia Pacific: Pastry products recalled in Singapore for possible milk allergen

The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) has directed a recall of a range of Spring Home TYJ Spring Roll Pastry products, Spring Home Samosa Pastry, and Spring Home Chicken Spring Roll produced by local manufacturer Tee Yih Jia Food Manufacturing Pte Ltd due to the potential presence of an undeclared milk allergen in its products.

The food manufacturer informed SFA that it had received feedback from an overseas customer on the presence of a milk allergen in its products that was not declared on the labels.

It is currently testing its products to confirm the presence of the allergen.

As a precautionary measure and as the products are available for sale in Singapore, SFA has directed the manufacturer to recall the products.

The recall is ongoing.
