Palsgaard joins the EcoVadis supplier platform as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) package on transparency.
The company submitted all relevant CSR information to the EcoVadis assessment tool and have been awarded with ‘Gold Recognition Level’.
The recognition places Palsgaard among the top 5% performers evaluated by EcoVadis.
Energy and environment weigh considerably in the EcoVadis assessment system and as such Palsgaard’s intensive work on carbon dioxide (CO2) neutrality has played an important role within this category of the assessment.
Working to reduce energy consumption and operating with green energy sources, Palsgaard obtained CO2 neutrality for its Danish plant in 2015.
Projects on CO2-neutrality are on-going for its sites in Holland, Mexico and Malaysia.
