The Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America has named DSM the Company of the Year, recognizing the company’s halal compliance, implementation and program of label control for Halal logo and markings.
The number of Halal consumers is increasing and has now reached 1.6 billion, making Halal food, beverage and dietary supplement products one of the fastest growing consumer segments in the world.
DSM has liaised with halal certification bodies to develop and implement a halal policy and management system to ensure its nutritional ingredients meet the stringent requirements.
