Berry Plastics Group’s Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBC) group recently received two awards from Eastman Chemical Company.
Berry Plastics was one of approximately 21 suppliers from Eastman’s 6,000 vendors, to be awarded Eastman’s Supplier Excellence Award.
It was also presented with an Innovation Award for 2013.
The Supplier Excellence Award recognizes suppliers who demonstrate consistency and performance in metrics such as on-time delivery, conformance to specifications, and continual improvement efforts.
The Award is presented to suppliers that effectively work to better the company’s product, resulting in improved performance.
