Europe: Campden BRI, IFT launch exchange competition

Campden BRI and the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) have launched The Thesis Video Challenge that offers food technology post-graduate students around the world the chance to win an exchange program.

The winner of contest will spend 10 days at Campden BRI in the UK to gain insight into the European food industry.

He/She will also have the opportunity to meet industry members and experience each of the company’s divisions (science, technology, brewing, and knowledge management), focusing on the most relevant areas of their area of study.

Campden BRI is sponsoring the competition and covering the student’s travel costs up to a value of US$7,500.

For the chance to win, students need to submit a video of less than three minutes related to original research they are conducting by April 1, 2016.

The challenge is open to IFT student members who are either studying for a Masters or PhD.

The winner will be announced at the IFTSA Closing Ceremony during IFT16 in Chicago, Illinois, July 18, 2016.
