Equipment manufacturer Duravant has acquired packaging equipment maker Hamer.
The purchase expands Duravant’s packaging platform and strengthens its engineering, design and service expertise in bag management system solutions.
Hamer’s packaging solutions include equipment for dosing, filling, bag closing, form fill seal automation, palletizing and fully automatic turnkey bagging systems.
Dan Brown, president of Hamer will continue to lead the Hamer organization.
He joined Hamer in 2002 as VP of sales and marketing and built a market-focused organization driven by engineering excellence.
