Internal logistics provider Interroll has won its first dynamic storage system order in Indonesia from confectionery manufacturer Lotte Indonesia.
This order comprises a total of 3,896 pallet positions including a Roller Push Back System.
“The Interroll first in, first out or FIFO systems can meet all of our requirements regarding short shelf life, energy saving, less maintenance and less space,” says Lucky Jurista, PPIC Manager of Lotte Indonesia.
Interroll dynamic storage solutions reportedly save up to 50% space and reduce travel distances up to 70% with compact, high density FIFO solutions using separate input and output aisles.
The Interroll Roller Pushback system has been designed as a dedicated LIFO system, which can save a lot of space and achieve 80-95% occupancy utilization, says the company.
