Landaal Packaging Systems is planning a major expansion of its Delta Containers Division in Bay City, Michigan, US.
The company offering corrugated, point of purchase displays, contract packaging, sustainable products and fulfillment services will also celebrate its 50-year partnership with the City of Bay City, Michigan.
“We’re excited to renew our commitment to the Bay City area with this expansion in Bay City. The additional manufacturing jobs that accompany this expansion will contribute to the community for years to come,” said Landaal Packaging Systems president, Steve Landaal.
Construction is expected to start immediately on the 66,000 square foot building addition that will house manufacturing, warehousing, and office operations.
The facility is expected to be fully-operational by May 1, 2015.
“Delta Containers division has selected our community to expand its operations by investing more than US$5 million,” said Patti Stowell, economic development marketing manager, City of Bay City.
In addition, Landaal Packaging operates a 316,000 square foot manufacturing and packaging operation in Burton, MI, and an Innovation Design Center in Michigan.
