Rose Forgrove has introduced the Integra 601, which is designed to package soft, sticky or wet products.
This wrapper boasts fast pack size changeover with one part change, gas flushing, easy-open packages and long-dwell sealing for hermetic packs.
The inverted unwind design is sanitation-friendly with reduced contact surface area.
The machine can wrap cheeses in the form of chunks and slices for consumer and institutional sizes; loaves and large slabs of mozzarella.
The Inverted Integra has been well-accepted by the industry, according to Michael Dann, director of Rose Forgrove: “While we designed this model to primarily meet the needs of our cheese customers, it has actually been a great solution for many other products. We recently sold a model for packaging bird seed.”
The machine can wrap 150 packages per minute and package range is up to 150mm high x 300m wide.
A video demonstration of the Rose Forgrove Integra 601 wrapping deli loaves of cheese is currently available on HayssenSandiacre’s YouTube Channel.
In addition, Director Michael Dann said the company has “recently invested in new engineering team members in support of a major horizontal wrapper systems growth initiative”.
