IMCD N.V. will on August 1, 2014 extend its current Wacker portfolio to include HDK pyrogenic silica products in Germany.
It has entered an agreement with Wacker for their range of silicones and polymers in Southeastern Europe (SEE) and Poland on July 1, 2014.
IMCD partners with Wacker for several market segments in Europe, South Africa and Asia Pacific. The addition of HDK pyrogenic silica products to IMCD’s current Wacker portfolio in Germany will cover construction, paints, personal care, nutrition, plastics, sealants, adhesives and silicone elastomer applications.
Already distributing products from Wacker’s silicones and polymers portfolio in different regions, the new agreement in SEE and Poland includes a broad range of silicone fluids, emulsions, resins, elastomers and sealants.
These products are used for several applications in markets such as coatings, construction, cosmetics, homecare, textiles, automotive, paper and electronics.
