Portuguese brand Guloso’s chopped tomatoes in Tetra Recart packages have claimed the 2016 Distribution Master Product Award in the country by publication Distribuição hoje.
The awards recognize companies that have made significant achievements in terms of distribution efficiency or shelf impact. Guloso tomato products won in both areas.
“Consumers appreciate the advantages of this new packaging format,” says Tânia Caria, Guloso brand manager.
“They find it lighter, easier to handle, and more environmentally-friendly.”
Part of the Sugal Group, Guloso has transferred its entire range of chopped tomato products from cans to Tetra Recart packages.
This includes fresh chopped tomatoes, chopped tomatoes with garlic, with onion and basil, and with oregano.
