The IDF World Dairy Summit will motivate industry participants with the theme Dare to Dairy! from October 16 to 21, 216 in the Netherlands.
Held annually by the International Dairy Federation, more than 1,000 people are expected at the event in Rotterdam.
The organizing committee seeks to engage the ‘outside world’ to have an inside look. Representatives of civil society will discuss issues with the international dairy community about animal welfare, animal health, climate and energy, and sustainable food.
The World Wildlife Fund, the US animal protection and the Dutch Environmental Assessment Agency among others will for example discuss on how dairy products could contribute to feeding nine billion people.
