Toyo Ink, Toyo Ink Arets and Toyo Morton will be exhibiting together at drupa 2016, which runs from May 31 to June 10 in Dusseldorf, Germany.
The three firms will jointly showcase printing and packaging solutions for brand owners and package printers reduce wastage throughout the supply chain, lessen environmental risks, enhance food safety and achieve uniform packaging quality worldwide.
“At drupa 2016, the Toyo Ink Group will feature our comprehensive portfolio of packaging technologies and solutions for flexo printing, UV/EB [ultraviolet/electron beam] curable printing, retort pouch production and eco-friendly water-based systems,” said Katsumi Yamazaki, president of Toyo Ink.
Visitors can view the Flash Dry FL Kaleido series of UV-curable flexo inks for vivid color reproduction on flexible packaging.
This product is ideal for the high design demands of tag and label printing, especially when used in combination with Toyo’s pigments and management system, which were tailor-made for this specialty ink.
Toyo Ink will also debut its Lioflex Aqua Liona NFQD series of flexo inks at the show, to address the growing demand for water-based products in flexible packaging applications.
Once considered impossible to achieve using water-based inks, the newly developed flexo ink series enables high-speed printing at a maximum speed of 500 meters per minute.
