Singapore will host Food&HotelAsia2016 (FHA2016) from April 12 to 15 with 300 first-time exhibitors and new international group pavilion entrants.
“For the 2016 event, we are seeing many new local and international companies joining us for the very first time,” says Ting Siew Mui, project director of Lifestyle Events at Singapore Exhibition Services, organizer of FHA.
The show will unveil ProWine Asia 2016, a show co-organized with Messe Düsseldorf Asia for international producers of wine and spirits to tap into the Southeast Asia market.
Other ‘firsts’ include:
• Local exhibitors such as Boon Tong Kee, Fraser & Neave, Lam Soon, Owl International and Yeo Hiap Seng and global brands Arla, Blue Diamond Growers, Scelta Mushrooms and SodaStream Professional,
• International group pavilions from Algeria, Hungary, Poland and The Netherlands,
• Extension to accommodate exhibitors from FoodAsia,
• ProWine Asia
• Sweet High Tea challenge for the foodservice sector,
• Hotels & Resorts Management conference track,
• Track on food and beverage productivity,
FHA2016 will feature six specialized exhibitions, namely FoodAsia, HotelAsia, SpecialityCoffee&Tea, Bakery&Pastry, HospitalityStyleAsia and HospitalityTechnology.
There will also be activities including the FHA Culinary Challenge 2016, the FHA Barista Challenge 2016, the FHA Latte Art Challenge 2016 and Asian Pastry Cup 2016.
The last edition of FHA in 2014 garnered the attention of more than 65,000 trade attendees and played host to about 3,000 exhibitors from 65 countries and regions.
