Xerium Technologies, a global provider of industrial consumable products and services, announced two plant expansion projects to enhance its rolls products and mechanical services capabilities for the North American market.
It will expand and modernize its Griffin, Georgia plant and broaden its mechanical service offering, increase its capabilities for rubber roll recovering, and for industrial roll recovering.
These new investments will also lower lead times.
This expansion is expected to generate increased sales volumes in the region.
Completion is scheduled for Q4 2015.
The company will also expand and modernize its Neenah, Wisconsin plant, where it will install a polyurethane roll cover production cell and increase the size and breadth of its mechanical services department in order to more broadly serve customers in the region.
This expansion is expected to generate increased sales volumes in the region and it is scheduled for completion in Q4 2015.
Both facilities manufacture and repair large rolls used in the production of paper, containerboard, boxboard, tissue, pulp, nonwoven fabrics, fiber cement siding, steel, film production, and flexible packaging.
They also mechanically repair and service large sections of production machines that require regular and sophisticated maintenance.
