Europe: Cabka-IPS introduces pallets that carry load to reduce transport costs

Cabka-IPS will be presenting plastic pallets and boxes at the international packaging fair Emballage in Paris, France from November 17 to 20, 2014.

The company will be introducing its new container pallets Endur S7 and C7.2, which feature a square and robust design, impact resistance, and a load capacity of 1,250 kg on high racks.

Both are used, for example, to store flexible intermediate bulk containers or FIBCs, also called big bags, in high-bay warehouses.

While the C7.2 measures 1,140 mm by 1,140 mm and is developed for transport in International Organization for Standardization containers, the S7 of 1,200 mm by 1,200 mm can carry for six module units (600 mm by 400 mm) per location.

This means that the S7 can hold 20% and 50% more goods than an industrial pallet and a Euro pallet respectively.

It also offers sufficient surface area for transporting 200-liter kegs.

Besides the three runners version, the pallet is available with six runners and can therefore be used for block stacking.

The pallet comes with an open or closed upper deck which can optionally be equipped with anti-slip strips.
