Asia Pacific: Schütz opens IBC plant in Thailand

Schütz is expanding its production network in east Asia by opening a new location in Thailand.

From mid-January 2017 Schütz Ecobulk will be produced in Rayong.

The new intermediate bulk container or IBC plant was designed and built to fully comply with the wide-ranging requirements of the FSSC 22000 industry standard.

The certification audit, which is the basis of the company’s Foodcert packaging, is due to take place in the coming months.

The site will contain administration and sales departments, as well as several large warehouses.
