Europe: Whey protein iced coffee debuts in show

Arla Foods Ingredients has released a whey protein iced coffee drink that builds the muscles, strengthens the bones and boosts the brain.

The solution delivers 20 g of whey protein from Lacprodan DI-7017 per 350ml serving.

It is also a source of calcium and phosphorous with Capolac milk minerals, which contribute to normal muscle function and neurotransmission, and are needed for the maintenance of normal bone health.

Its content of naturally occurring caffeine from real coffee beans is similar to one to two cups of espresso.

The whey protein iced coffee will be available to see and try at the forthcoming Health Ingredients Europe trade show, which takes place in Frankfurt, Germany from November 29 to December 1, 2016.

The new whey protein iced coffee has been developed as part of Arla Foods Ingredients’ latest marketing campaign, which is called ‘Whey Better Protein’.

It is highlighting how whey protein solutions offer multiple application and nutrition benefits and can enable food and beverage companies to benefit from emerging trends by entering new categories that are growing quickly.
