Europe: Coveris ink technology energizes smoothie bottle design

UK and European smoothie brand Innocent has used Coveris’ transparent labels to achieve the new design’s signature color stamp with greater product visibility.

In a shift away from its classic white branding, Innocent has just launched their new-look smoothie packs with the focus turning directly towards what’s inside of these bottles full of goodness.

Using specialist high opacity inks and printing technology, the labels achieve a range of vivid colors cleverly offset against the color of the drink by the ultra-clear transparent label.

Replacing its 750 ml cartons with a recyclable PET bottle and label, and swapping its signature 250 ml white bottle labels for a new transparent look represents a major evolution in the brand’s history.

The seven classic smoothie lines include mangoes and passion fruit, strawberries and bananas and the greens.
