Asia Pacific: Hanovia launches PureLine UVEO in Thailand

UV disinfection specialist Hanovia successfully launched its new PureLine Ultraviolet Energy Optimised (UVEO) disinfection system in the Asia Pacific region at ProPak Asia in Bangkok, Thailand on June 15, 2016.

The company is expanding in the region and recently opened an office in Singapore.

“The Asia Pacific region is very important for Hanovia and we are strengthening our position here through partners such as Repassa,” says Asia Pacific regional manager Poorna Rajendran.

Ensuring product quality in the food and beverage industries, while also being price conscious, can be a difficult balancing act for manufacturers.

They need to know that the disinfection technology they are using is fit for purpose and will protect the product from pathogens such as Cryptosporidium or bacteria like E.coli, while at the same time balancing the cost of the technology with the financial realities.

The PureLine UVEO range also provides a critical barrier against contamination by non-chemical means.

Using the system at particular points in the water treatment process also allows customers to also prolong the life of other components, such as reverse osmosis membranes, by eliminating the risk of downstream contamination.
