Americas: ADM releases Vitamin E products

ADM releases natural source vitamin E products, Novatol Sunflower 5-67 Vitamin E and Novatol Sunflower Vitamin E Succinate, which are derived from non-genetically modified organism sunflower oil.

D-alpha tocopherol is the only form of alpha tocopherol found in nature, and it is also better retained by the body than synthetic vitamin E, according to a 1987 study published in Lipids.

With a low viscosity and high d-alpha tocopherol concentration, Novatol Sunflower 5-67 Vitamin E is created for soft gel capsules as well as food and beverage fortification.

When exposed to air or intense processing temperatures, the esters of d-alpha tocopherol are reduced susceptibility to degradation, allowing for increased flexibility in product formulations.

This creates d-alpha tocopheryl acid succinate, a commercially available sunflower-based succinate form of vitamin E.

This high-concentration powder is neutral in taste and is ideal for tableting applications such as multivitamins and chewable tablets.

The two products do not contain soy, and are Kosher and Halal certified.
