Europe: Ensinger stock shapes replace metal parts in food factories

Ensinger has launched TECAPET semi-crystalline polyester stock shapes to replace metal parts in food industry applications.

They exhibit excellent wear and chemical resistance, good mechanical properties and low moisture absorption.

These durable stock shapes are often used in food filling and other processing machines, as well as conveying equipment where parts may be subject to chlorinated or caustic cleaning solutions.

The stock shapes certify to be compliant to FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.1630 that means there will be no migration of extractable from plastic that could potentially contaminate food products.
