Americas: Americk Packaging buys artwork, labels business

Americk Packaging has acquired Suffolk-based Adare Advantage, where the former can reach €140 million (US$148.84 million) in sales revenue by year end.

Americk Packaging will also own the Electronic Article Surveillance solution and artwork and content management system Starfish.

Adare Advantage now branded Americk Advantage is located in Haverhill, Suffolk and employs 110 production, sales and office staff.

The labels and flexible printer has diversified into artwork services, security labeling and recycled packaging including containers and lidding films.

The acquisition will complement the existing flexible packaging, labels and carton businesses under the Americk banner, increasing the range of products available to a European customer base.
