Americas: Ipak Machinery exhibits entry-level tray former at show

With its new model TF-100, IPak Machinery, powered by Pro Mach, delivers a small footprint tray former that focuses on creating high quality, aesthetically pleasing four-corner trays for nearly any application.

The TF-100 is designed for four-corner trays where no rollover or one-piece lidding is required.

The machine includes features for basic tray forming with IPak quality and performance at an entry-level price – more than 28% less than the servo-driven TF-100 S-Series or TF-200 S-Series.

The new TF-100 will be featured at Pack Expo Las Vegas, September 28-30, 2015.

It will be creating a retail ready 4-corner tray with a display window.

The TF-100 includes a 7” widescreen, touchscreen to monitor machine functions including glue pattern adjustments, machine speeds and timing, and troubleshooting.

An independently controlled, self-cleaning vacuum pick system and programmable electric drive with innovative Variable Feed Drive blank feed control deliver consistent high performance.

The TF-100 has an open design and heavy duty EZ-Clean powder coated frame for easy wipe down and maintenance. Proprietary passive compression technology assures precise flap bonding.

A Nordson ProBlue 7 two-hose two-head glue system delivers hours of continuous operation before refilling. The machine completes changeovers without tools in less than 10 minutes with a standard, color-coded two-crank system.

A vertical hopper maximizes tray capacity between filling.

Safety Features include an ISO13849-1 category cylinder to prevent accidental activation, Interlocked safety guarding, a lockout, tag-out ready air and electrical disconnect, 24 V DC low voltage circuitry with IP67 terminal blocks and low voltage wiring, and UL listed Nema 12 control panel and enclosure.

Applications include craft beer, food processing, pharmaceuticals, snacks, and hygiene products, as well as most products in plastic containers, cans, or bottles that fit into standard trays.
