Americas: 3E Company expands solutions for global product compliance

3E Company, a provider of environmental health and safety compliance and information management services, has enhanced its food, beverage, and flavor solution with an expanded content offering and the addition of functionality to its ArielLogic tool.

In addition, Ariel Food & Flavors content can now be seamlessly integrated into SAP’s Recipe Development module and other formulation management platforms.

The suite of solutions increases visibility into global product compliance initiatives and better enables companies to verify compliance early in the product development life cycle.

These tools can also augment regulatory impact risk management initiatives and facilitate the development of market suitability reviews and supplier assessments, helping food, beverage, and flavor manufacturers successfully meet their compliance regulations while also mitigating risk.

3E’s expanded Food & Flavors regulatory content offering encompasses restricted and banned substances; hazard communication documentation and labeling; and market suitability reviews and supplier assessments.

3E has updated its ArielLogic tool to enable users to more easily perform substance-level checks on country-level food, food additives, and flavor regulatory requirements.

The tool provides full text and overviews of food additives and flavor regulations and comprehensive coverage of labeling, health claims, genetically modified organisms, and other relevant industry topics.

By optimizing the integration of content into SAP Recipe Development, Ariel enables users to seamlessly load data to the SAP property tree and use SAP’s Compliance Check functionality.

Ariel content is now integrated into SAP using Ariel Content for the cloud, the company’s first in a series of cloud-based data-loading applications.

Types of data supported include prohibited ingredients; quantity and application use restrictions; regulatory reference; and positive/negative statements.

The new integrated solution ensures that SAP users have improved access to the content needed to ensure overall product and facility compliance.
