Asia Pacific: Malaysian manufacturer tests Tecsia Lubricants’ solution

A trial involving food-grade lubricant, Anderol PQ AA 2 Plus, was recommended for a canned food manufacturer in Malaysia.

This was resulted from Tecsia Lubricants’ analysis of the manufacturer’s lubrication issue with bearings at the seamer machines.

The previous lubricant had poor adhesion and often leaked into the cans.

It became a major concern for the manufacturer in terms of product rejection and maintenance costs.

Due to this, production got disruptive.

Anderol PQ AA 2 Plus was accepted by the manufacturer for a three-month trial.

The grease is designed for can seaming, which provides anti-wear protection and prevents corrosion even at high temperatures.

The lubricant enabled the manufacturer to reduce maintenance costs and there were no more cases of lubricant spillage.

The relubrication interval was also extended and increased overall productivity.
