Europe: Multivac presents inspection, labeling systems at Anuga FoodTec 2015

Multivac Marking & Inspection will showcase the new X-ray inspection system Baseline I 100, which will come onto the market in April 2015 at Anuga FoodTec in Cologne, Germany from March 24 to 27, 2014.

The company will also exhibit its new generation of label dispensers, which are distinguished by their accuracy and speed.

The label dispensers can be seen in use in the new conveyor belt labellers, which include high-end devices and affordable entry-level models for simple labeling tasks.

The new X-ray inspection system Baseline I 100 is a compact and affordable entry-level model optimized for the food industry.

Like all X-ray inspection systems from Multivac, it meets the requirements of national and international standards for food quality, such as Hazard analysis and critical control points, International Featured Standards or British Retail Consortium.

Beveled surfaces and the balcony design facilitate cleaning.

The stainless steel construction meets the requirements of protection class IP65.

The system has an extensive software package and a diode array detector with 0.4 mm resolution.

It can be integrated into existing production lines.

Conveyor belt labellers

At the show, the company will highlight two conveyor belt labellers from the product series Baseline L 300 and L 310, which can be integrated into packaging lines or used as stand-alone labellers.

The series Baseline L 300 includes affordable entry-level models for ease of labeling tasks from above, below or diagonally in the low- to medium-performance range.

Its low number of options enables fast, easy configuration.

The labeling systems can be quickly delivered and provide an economical solution for standard labeling tasks.

The L 310 high-end series has the usual wide range of options in terms of product transport, label positioning, printing and inspection, and this also extends to customized solutions.

The systems can integrate any number of label dispensers and can label without interruption.

The LD 100 for the low-risk area and the LD 200 for hygienic areas are presented as separate exhibits at the fair.
This new generation of label dispensers works quickly and accurately, is easy to use and can be installed or retrofitted in a space-saving manner.

With their modular design, they can be adapted to all tasks and applications in a wide variety of industries without significant additional costs.
