Sonoco Alloyd has received a WorldStar 2015 Packaging Award for its Whirlpool Water EveryDrop water filter package by the World Packaging Organization (WPO).
This new product reinvents packaging for on-the-go water filters.
The water droplet shape of the clamshell cavity positions the filter so the outer graphics clearly communicate what it is, how it works and the many ways to use this product.
Additionally, the outer printed sleeve attracts shoppers with a three-dimensional printed water droplet effect and refreshing graphic color scheme.
The WPO selected the 2015 WorldStar winners on November 19, 2014.
Representatives from 17 packaging associations judged 264 packaging projects from 37 countries.
The winners will be recognized in a ceremony during the IPACK-IMA 2015 exhibition in Milan, Italy, to be held May 19 to 23, 2015.
