Europe: The UTZ company’s linkable dolly wins award at Emballage 2014

The UTZ company received a special mention by the jury Pack Expert at the packaging exhibition Emballage held in Paris from November 17 to 20, 2014.

During the awards, managed by the Pack Expert committee of Packaging Exhibition 2014, three special mentions among 200 products were awarded, one for Utz, awarded for its Linkable Dolly.

It is a system created for the manual picking orders.

It combines trays, dollies and dolly with push bar, which can connect and disconnect with each other on both sides, and allows a better handling for the users.

“The interest is to be able to fit the size of the orders by the ability to connect one, two, three dollies,” says Stéphane Chalutaud, designer and creator of the product.

“Therefore it finds naturally its place in the preparation of manual orders and optimizes the ground storage space.”

“The interest of the product is also to be accessible and connectable on both sides, which enables simple handling during the preparation in the warehouse where the space is often limited. This avoids musculoskeletal disorders.”
