RPC Emballages Moirans has developed a new barrier solution for its range of blow molded containers up to 30 liters.
RPC Protect provides a barrier against solvent-based products, offering a safe and efficient transport solution for chemical, agrochemical and fuel products.
It is also approved for food use.
The company says the barrier does not affect the performance of the containers in any way, maintaining their lightweight, robust and shock resistant properties and passing all the requirements of drop, pressure and stacking tests.
In addition, containers with RPC Protect are currently undergoing assessment for United Nation’s approval.
The solution can be applied to all types of containers, ensuring flexibility in design and enabling family ranges containing both barrier and non-barrier packs to be created.
With their mono-material construction, containers incorporating RPC Protect are easy to recycle, while reduced energy consumption during transportation is a further sustainability benefit.
