China’s flexible packaging company Jiaxing Ming Yue Packaging Material has launched amorphous polyethylene terephthalate/ethylene vinyl alcohol or APET/EVOH high barrier composite soft sheets.
They are used for modified atmosphere packaging and skin packaging in the food industry.
The sheets feature barrier properties, which can be sealed with polyethylene-type top film and provide a longer shelf life for food for a better display.
The thickness of the sheet is from 300 microns to 500 microns and measures from 360 mm to 600 mm wide.
