Americas: T.H.E.M.’s New Jersey facility receives SQF Level 2 certification

North American provider of single-use flexible packaging solutions company Technical Help in Engineering and Marketing (T.H.E.M.) says its Marlton, New Jersey contract manufacturing facility has obtained Safety Quality Food (SQF) Code Edition 7.2, Level 2 Certification.

Level 2 is a certified Hazard Analysis Critical Control points (HACCP)-based food safety and quality management system that is benchmarked by the Global Food Safe Initiative (GFSI).

Products produced and manufactured under the SQF Code certification retain a high degree of acceptance in global markets by retailers, consumer brands, and foodservice providers.

The company’s SQF registration covers the production of drink mixes, barbecue sauce, ketchup, mayonnaise, sweeteners, syrup, oils and nutritional supplements.

The facility provides contract manufacturing and packaging services for a number of global consumer brands and retailers in the form of flexible stick packs, pouches and other single-use flexible packaging formats.

The company’s form-fill-sealing operations accommodate both liquid and dry products.

In addition to food and beverage products, the company provides contract packaging services for nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, personal care products and energy supplements.

The facility is FDA registered, Kosher and USDA Organic certified, and also certified to package dietary supplements.
