Asia Pacific: BRC gives grade A to Rieke Packaging Systems’ Chinese facility

Rieke Packaging Systems’ factory in Hangzhou, China has achieved ‘A’ grade rating in the British Retail Consortium (BRC) Global Standards for Packaging and Packaging Materials.

The BRC audit, carried out by independent international audit company SGS, assessed Rieke for the molding and assembly of dispensing systems (pumps and closures) for personal care, perfumes, cosmetics, household cleaners, and food packages.

BRC Global Standards is a safety and quality certification programme, used by more than 21,000 suppliers in 90 countries.

The certifications guarantee the standardization of quality, safety and operational criteria in order to ensure that manufacturers fulfil their legal obligations and provide protection for the end consumer.

The audit was undertaken as part of Rieke’s continuing commitment to ensure its products are manufactured worldwide to the same strict specifications in line with customer demand for cost-effective, high quality packaging solutions.
