Europe: Kräuter Mix sets up third plant to process products gently

Together with a growing demand for germ-reduced products the needs and requirements of the food and pharmaceutical industry for products that have been processed in a gentle and natural way has constantly increased in recent years.

This is because germ-reduced products comply with strict and microbiological customer requirements and international legal rules and standards, says Kräuter Mix GmbH.

The company has thus established a third sterilization unit with three technically processes, enabling it to react more flexibly to customer requirements in Germany.

The company offers solutions pertaining to the particularly gentle treatment of products, a reduction of microbiological background levels and the processing on good manufacturing practice-certified plants.

With its large-scale plant Care-Mix, Kräuter Mix has gained experience in natural germ reduction based on saturated steam for 15 years.

In 2010, it set up its batch plant Care-Mix II was set up, which has put the third plant into operation in June 2014.
