Europe: More seniors in region are aware of the benefits of protein, says FrieslandCampina DMV

FrieslandCampina DMV conducted a consumer survey amongst nearly 1,000 consumers in six European countries, aged 50-80 years.

The study reveals that protein is the third nutrient consumers indicate they try to consume more of.

Furthermore, 69% of the respondents think protein is beneficial for physical health and retaining muscle mass, while 57% indicates protein is good for retaining mobility.

The study indicates that senior consumers are currently aware of the benefits of protein and are willing to consume healthier, everyday products with more protein.
