Americas: 3M solution wins Gold Stevie Award

The 3M Clean-Trace Hygiene Monitoring and Management System has won the Gold Stevie Award in the Best New Product or Service of the Year – Health & Pharmaceuticals category in the 14th Annual International Business Awards.

More than 3,900 nominations from organizations were submitted this year for consideration in categories including Company of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year and Best New Product or Service of the Year, among others.

Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 200 executives worldwide who participated on 12 juries.

The 3M Clean-Trace System detects adenosine triphosphate (ATP), a substance found in all living cells and present on any contaminated surface.

It is used by food producers and healthcare providers to verify whether their surfaces are clean.

The jury described the solution “that combines hardware and software innovation to bring enhanced speed, precision and efficiency in hygiene management to a new level”.

Stevie Awards are conferred in seven programs: the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards, the German Stevie Awards, The American Business Awards, The International Business Awards, the Stevie Awards for Women in Business, the Stevie Awards for Great Employers, and the Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service.

Stevie Awards competitions receive more than 10,000 entries each year from organizations in more than 60 nations.

Honoring organizations of all types and sizes and the people behind them, the Stevies recognize outstanding performances in the workplace worldwide.
