Asia Pacific: Ink for hard-to-mark surfaces

Videojet Technologies launches a black ink designed to deliver excellent adhesion on a wide variety of substrates, including high density polyethylene and polyvinyl chloride.

The new ink expands the 8610 TIJ printer application reach.

It has an average dry time of two seconds on non-porous substrates, and a shelf life of 12 months.

It opens up new possibilities for printing on packaging, with print resolutions up to four times greater than continuous inkjet technology.

This ink is for use in the Videojet 8610 TIJ printer that utilizes a purpose-built cartridge designed to use methyl ethyl ketone fluids.

The printer is ideal for applications that require high resolution codes on hard-to-print surfaces such as foils, films, plastics and coated stocks.
