Europe: Mauser to start three lines in France

Mauser will install a new production line for inter-bulk containers and a new reconditioning unit together with its subsidiary National Container Group (NCG) in in St Priest, France in January 2017.

During the second half of 2017, a production line for plastic drums (with up to 220 liters filling volume) will be added.

“The St Priest location near Lyon will then form another of Mauser’s multi-product plants including a reconditioning service,” says Dr. Jürgen Scherer, head of Mauser SBU Europe.

Besides being closer to its customers, the three lines will help Mauser reduce its logistic impact on the environment, and can provide local services for the handling of industrial packaging – from production to recollection, reuse and recycling following the Eco-Cycle approach.

Mauser is servicing its customers in France out of four production locations, covering the entire country.
