Americas: Mauser’s subsidiary acquires ERC

The Mauser reconditioning subsidiary National Container Group (NCG) is expands in North American plastic recycling business with the acquisition of Engineered Recycling Company, LLC (ERC) located in Charlotte, North Carolina.

ERC is one of the nation’s leading plastics producers operating in a 200,000 sq. ft. facility.

NCG President and CEO Michael A. Chorpash is “pleased to expand our service portfolio to include responsible material recycling in North America”.

“We have successfully upgraded our market approach by offering full life cycle services in Europe and South America and look forward to continually expanding our comprehensive service portfolio.”

ERC President and CEO Peter Suttoni stated “that since 2008 we have recycled and processed NCG material for MAUSER to use in the production of new plastic drums and it has been a very successful relationship.”
