Asia Pacific: Amcor to buy BPI China for US$13M

Amcor has entered an agreement to acquire BPI China, the Chinese subsidiary of UK-based British Polythene Industries PLC for US$13 million.

BPI China has one plant located in Xinhui, South China, with blown film and flexographic printing lines.

The business produces flexible packaging products for export and domestic customers.

Amcor has 10 flexible packaging plants in China, including four in the south.
