Asia Pacific: SATO buys Brazilian company to expand into South America

SATO has acquired Brazilian primary label company Prakolar RĂ³tulos Autoadesivos S/A (hereinafter Prakolar) to strengthen its footprint in the region.

Through the acquisition, SATO aims to accelerate the market penetration of its South America Group companies SATO Auto-ID Do Brasil Ltda. in Brazil and Achernar S.A. in Argentina.

Prakolar is based in SĂ£o Paulo, Brazil and offers labels to brands from the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, chemicals and beverages industries.
