Savoury Systems International (SSI) has achieved Non-GMO Project Verified status for product #1000 Yeast Extract Low Salt-High Protein.

The Non-GMO Project offers North America’s only independent verification for non-genetically modified organism (GMO) products made according to rigorous best practices for GMO avoidance.

Verified products are produced in compliance with the Non-GMO Project Standard, which involves ongoing testing of all GMO risk ingredients, facility inspections and an annual audit to ensure the highest possible standards for GMO avoidance.

The company offers Non-GMO hydrolyzed vegetable proteins that include a gluten-free, corn-based formulation.

Its products are vegetarian, and several are Kosher and/or Halal.
