Americas: PepsiCo debuts new flavored popcorn in the US

Cracker Jack, one of the many brands in PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay division, has unveiled a new variety just in time to celebrate National Popcorn Lover’s Day in the US.

The Chocolate Peanut Butter Flavored Popcorn features a modern twist on the classic snack – each airy popcorn kernel is coated with sweet and savory chocolate peanut butter flavor.

“Chocolate peanut butter is among the most popular flavor pairings of all-time,” said Haston Lewis, senior director of marketing, Frito-Lay.

The snack is retailed in the US in four-ounce bags at a suggested retail price of US$1.49.

The product joins additional Cracker Jack brand favorites, including Chocolate & Caramel Flavored Popcorn, Kettle Corn Flavored Popcorn, and Original Caramel Coated Popcorn & Peanuts.
