Europe: Sigma-Aldrich releases flavors, fragrances standards portfolio

Sigma-Aldrich Corporation Applied business unit’s Analytical initiative has launched a portfolio of more than 600 flavors and fragrances calibration standards and certified reference materials or CRMs aimed at the food and beverage and cosmetic markets to better ensure product quality and safety.

The new organic compounds are designed for analytical instrument calibration, an important role in determining the composition of consumables.

The portfolio covers the characteristic odor and taste profiles from product groups, including beverage aroma substances, fruit flavors, flavor enhancers, sweeteners, fragrances, and allergenic compounds.

Manufacturers can access to the entire range of products, along with technical information and order online.
