Americas: H.B. Fuller opens new center for packaging design

H.B. Fuller has invested US$1 million in a Packaging Center of Excellence at its North American headquarters.

The new facility opened on April 29, 2014 and it is accessible year round for packaging engineering and technical services.

Through the center, the company aims to connect manufacturers with its packaging adhesive experts and expertise, technology, application and equipment for problem solving and innovation.

The in-depth collaboration can lead to new advancements and can aid in the protection of manufacturers’ brands and improve consumers’ experiences with their products.

“This center has been created to drive the industry forward and help customers protect their assets and their brands as well as find new ways to reduce costs,” said Steve Ringsdore, VP, Americas Packaging and Converting.

“But it also will be used to provide comprehensive training for our technical and sales team so that their market expertise delivers quantifiable value to our customers.”

Collaboration at the center entails end-of-line packaging, container labeling, flexible packaging, retail-ready packaging, handle and packaging reinforcement, and specialty packaging.
